With the annual Tokyo Game Show now in full swing, Konami is making another push with their Platinum Games-developed entry into the Metal Gear franchise titled Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance. Dead Island developer Deep Silver has released the first cinematic trailer for their upcoming sequel, Dead Island: Riptide. Going for the same punch-in-the-gut of emotional turmoil the reveal trailer for their first game brought us, it doesn't quite succeed. When I started playing Haunt, an Xbox Live Arcade game for Kinect, I was worried. As an "achievement hunter" and completionist, I felt that there may come a point where I may be unable to complete the achievements. Sega of America has today announced via their official blog that classics NiGHTS into Dreams... and Sonic Adventure 2 will be coming to consoles in October 2012. First up is Sonic Adventure 2, which will be releasing in the US on October 2 for $9.99 on the PlayStation Network and then on Xbox LIVE Arcade on October 5 for 800 MSP. Coming via an open letter from Mark Darrah, Executive Producer at BioWare, Dragon Age III: Inquisition was revealed officially as the next game in the award-wining series. Very few details were offered beyond the game offering more options for customization, grander and more visually appealing sights, and that they were somehow using DICE's Frostbite 2 engine to accomplish this.
