During the Microsoft E3 media conference, Bethesda’s Todd Howard took to the stage to show off the gorgeous Fallout 4. While mostly the same footage they displayed at the Bethesda conference the night prior, they were nice enough to announce at least a few new goodies. First off, those who purchase Fallout 4 on Xbox One will also receive a copy of Fallout 3 to take advantage of the newly announced backwards compatibility. But the big reveal was that mods created on PC will be transferrable to Xbox One for use on that platform. There’s no word yet how this will effect achievements or if someone could implement cool visual upgrades to the game later on like they tend to do on PC, but it’s still a huge step forward for console gaming.
Look for Fallout 4 this November 10th on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
