During the Microsoft E3 media conference, EA COO Peter Moore took to the stage to announce a few things. First, Respawn Entertainment’s Titanfall would be joining their Xbox One-only EA Access service this week, with BioWare’s Dragon Age: Inquisition coming along later in the year.
The BIG news came when a trailer for Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 was shown. Featuring the same wacky third-person gameplay found in the first game, this one will star three new plants and three new zombies (along with the returning four plants and four zombies) to play as. The script is flipped, too; you’ll play as the zombies defending Zomburbia from the attacking plants in “Graveyard Ops”, the sequel’s follow-up to the “Garden Ops” mode from the last time. Players coming from the previous entry will be able to transfer almost all of their unlocks and variant characters to the new one and just like that game, all DLC will be free!
Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare 2 is scheduled for a Q2 2016 release on Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
