Halo 4 Limited Edition Console And Controllers

Attention Halo fans!! Xbox Live’s Major Nelson has officially announced the Halo 4 Limited Edition console and it is available for pre-order. Microsoft has announced a Halo 4 Limited Edition console bundle.

The bundle includes:

  • a copy of the standard edition  Halo 4 game and
  • a 320GB system.

The system itself has an exclusive Halo design in addition to custom sounds when it’s turned on or when a disc is ejected. The bundle also includes:

  • two custom Halo 4 wireless controllers with Halo designs and blue LED lights
  • and a black Xbox 360 headset.

Players will also receive exclusive Halo 4 downloadable content including a unique armor skin, a unique weapon skin, a unique emblem, matching avatar armor and a unique avatar prop.

The bundle is available for pre-order on Microsoft’s online store for $399.99. Halo 4 will hit stores on November 6th.

The Limited Edition Halo 4 console bundle, announced Thursday, was officially revealed yesterday at Comic-Con. What was not leaked early is that there will be some Halo 4 themed controllers sold separately.

So if you are wanting Halo themed gaming hardware but can’t afford the $399.99 for the full console package, a custom gamepad will run the usual $59.99 and feature a design that is separate from the controllers paired with the Halo 4 Xbox. The controllers sold separately appear to feature blue lights for the quadrants surrounding the dashboard button, instead of the usual green.

Listings have the controllers available October 21.

I personally want to get the Halo 4 Limited Edition console bundle. The console is so sleak and the Halo design is so detailed and really stands out. The harddrive is a great size and I can use another headset. Being able to get the game with all of that and still pay under $400 is a great deal. The controllers in themselves are just so cool. But getting them with a matching console just really sets the deal on fire. The seperate controllers are really cool too. Just because they are still Halo edition I will be picking them up too.
