At this year’s Eurogamer Expo, developer Just Add Water officially revealed the second Oddworld HD upgrade, titled Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee – New ‘n’ Tasty. They were nice enough to show off a trailer composed of pre-alpha footage and even some screenshots.
First announced back in the March 2011 issue Electronic Gaming Monthly, the remake is targeting a Q4 2013 release for Xbox LIVE Arcade and the PlayStation Network. It will mainly be Abe’s Oddysee as it was on the original PlayStation, except with 2D gameplay in 3D environments. Otherwise, not much is known, but keep it here for more news as it’s revealed.
