Have you ever played a game featuring one of a publisher’s signature characters and wished you could see them interact with other iconic characters from other publishers? Well, those of us living in North America, Latin America, Europe and Australia will finally get our wish when Project X Zone is localized this summer from Japan where it’s been available since October 2012, according to Namco Bandai’s Facebook page.
Project X Zone (read as Project ‘Cross’ Zone) features iconic characters from Namco Bandai Games, Sega, and Capcom’s various franchises in a fighting/strategy game combination. Franchises represented include Resident Evil, Street Fighter, Virtua Fighter, Tales of Vesperia, Space Channel 5, Xenosaga, .hack, and many more, with characters being both playable and acting as assist characters.
The game will be coming for the Nintendo 3DS sometime in Summer 2013. If you’d like to check out the game’s Japanese trailer, it’s been embedded below and keep it here for more news.
