Helldivers 2 has been hit by a new burst of negative reviews about Steam over the past few days, and the reason for this rise appears to be rooted in the alleged confusion of Galactic War messaging involving Chinese players eager to defeat the lights.
The good news is that squid may soon suffer from its exact fate. But it thought that the President of Super Earth would be killed in action to take us to that point.

Looking at Steam, HD2 recorded less than 3500 negative reviews on May 29th and May 30th, in contrast to the positives of 1514. A small drop in the bucket compared to the mass of over 220,000 negative reviews associated with the controversy linking PSN accounts last May, but still notable.
A glance at these recent thumb downs reveals that most of them are rooted in misfortunes about recent bugs like Stratagem input. However, there is also a bunch of people cited a “99.9783%” percentage and expressing their dissatisfaction with Arrowhead about the recent developments in the Galactic War.
What happened looks like this. There was a great effort, especially by the players who hold China – two remaining megacities (located in China on the in-game map of Heldybirds 2) and the prosperous city (Swedish capital, home to developer Arrowhead) to protect them from the Illuminated invasion.
Their efforts meant that Heldiebirds’ retention against the city reached 99.9783%, but there was nothing they could do to make SEA equality 100% as the lighting still had the current order in progress and divers were unable to stop at that point completely, so they still infiltrated the EN-Masse.
This leads to frustration among Chinese players, according to the “Level 150 Heldie Bar Veteran” who is said to be a “Level 150 Chinese Heldie Bar Veteran” with Reddit username Valkyrie_Yukikaze (Thanks, Gamesradar). They claim that the game’s Chinese translations are not aided.
Coupled with conspiracy theory about Arrowhead and the master Joel Railway players in that game, coupled with the theory of conspiracy to reward their efforts and plot specific outcomes and twists in the war rather than dynamically responding to them. How you feel about it depends on what you think, but there are many examples of Arrowheads in the past, where players have hugged what they put out of the blue – the people in Hello Mines have decided to save the kids.
Anyway, I hope that everyone can come together relaxingly due to the climax of this important major order. The Super Earth president was killed in action overnight, but Arrowhead’s latest news briefing says that the squid is “incurring a heavy loss” and is soon “forced to abandon the attack.” It assumes that divers can keep holding back, so I hope they stay strong here.
