Duo Expeditions will officially come to Elden Ring Nightreign, as the game passes 3.5 million players

Elden Ring Nightreign has launched many features that have lost many of the features that most of us expect in modern multiplayer games. The Co-op Action RPG is designed for three players, and that’s the only best way to play it.

There are no options for the duo. You can start a game expedition (run) as a solo player, but there is no fun time. However, fromsoftware seems to be listening at first glance, and the developers have announced some big news.

Today, FromSoftware revealed that the game is outperforming 3.5 million players (via the official Elden Ring Twitter account). The wording of the tweet does not specify whether they are actual sales or simply player numbers.

Having seen Nightreign do so well on Steam, and from the second-largest launch to date, 3.5 million copies seem to be very plausible, taking into consideration other platforms as well.

In addition to this news, the developers have shared some early details about many of the features they are currently working on. First: Duo. Yes, the ability to play Nightreign with one other player – what modders already make possible – is working on.

The announcement had no time to expect when the duo expedition would arrive. It provided nothing beyond “later” as a release target. This is the studio’s first official recognition of its desire for Duos mode.

The latest patch of the game that arrived yesterday makes things a little less annoyed for solo players – even if the game is very lingering do not have Designed for solo use. More fine tuning of that vein is also underway.
