The humble choice game for June 2025 is here, with a total of 9 Steam deck Games offered compared to the typical 8 expected. This will help offset the slightly lower value of this month’s game. Instead, it doesn’t include Triple A titles that support some incredible indie experiences.
Whether you’re playing with the best game handheld on the market for steam decks or perhaps a more powerful option like Asus Rog Ally X, each of these games runs without any problems, so add them to your Steam library earlier than later.
You can break down the numbers and save $184.92/£161.08 on the total MSRP of Steam games this month for just $11.99/£8.99. The biggest savings of the year saved last month by $258.41/£232.55, which means the June offering looks weaker in comparison, but I’d argue that the game is just as good.
There is no obligation to membership in humble choices. This means you can pay for a month, charge games, and cancel your subscription at any time. This is to keep the game forever. You can also skip a month if a new set of games you dislike arrives, or if you probably already own a lot of them. To get a subscription, click on this link.

As always, I want to run some standout games from this month’s lineup. In June, all the games on offer are great, but there are three (well, technically 4) It stands out more than others in particular.
The first is Sker Ritual, a round-based shooter that uses the Call of Duty Zombies gameplay loop and extends throughout the game.
This supernatural indie shooter from British developer Welsh interactive expands into lore set in the hit game Maid of Sker, but you don’t have to play to understand what’s going on in Sker’s ritual.
The gunplay was very satisfying, and the almost guelike progression system was really appealing, yelling “One more run!” When I inevitably fall victim to one of the many great bosses in the game.
Next up is another shooter, the Warhammer 40K Boltgun, but back to the days of Doom and Wolfenstein, it has a terrible, terrifying pixel art graphics style and quick running and gun mechanics.
Whether you’re a veteran of the Warhammer 40K Tabletop game, or a full beginner in many previous video games, or scenes, Voltgun is one of the easiest ways to get started with IP. Better yet, if you want to enjoy the game, the Warhammer 40K Boltgun 2 has already been announced, so we look forward to 2026.
Finally, the legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1 and 2 has been remastered. A 2-inch package that brings back classic PC and PSONE games from 1999 and 2001 respectively.
These are loyal remasters that go beyond tweaking quality of life and much-needed graphical overhauls to make the original experience much less than a major change, allowing both games to be played on a steam deck for the first time without the need for control modes.
