DOOM: The Dark Ages Gets First Major Update With Balance Changes and Bug Fixes

Developer ID Software has released the first major update of the recently released shooter game. Destiny: Dark Ages. According to the studio, the update will bring improvements to the game’s balance and bug fixes and other improvements, including some of the game’s audio mix. Please note that this is not an update that will result in path tracing and rebuilding of DLSS rays to the game.

The studio also notes that a considerable number of these changes are from previous sets of tunings. This is a balance change that normally does not require a full patch. These are marked as (*pt). Before this update, the latest tuning was at the end of May.

Improvements and adjustments

  • With a tuned audio mix, the music and sound effects are more balanced at the default level (for the best result, we recommend resetting the audio settings to the default)
