GPU prices are currently a bit of a lottery in the US, but PC gamers in the UK enjoy a wealth of stocks and a decline. The latest new GPUs to get a discount Nvidia GeForce TX 5060 Currently selling for just £379.99 on the overclocker, the 16GB saves £20 on the MSRP and has plenty of VRAM and you can get the right graphics card.
I recently tested this GPU for my NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 TI review and found it to be an even better purchase than the more expensive RTX 5070 thanks to 4GB of VRAM. This NVIDIA GPU already offers reasonable value on MSRP, but it’s a really good deal at £379.99, especially for the 16GB version. Of course, there’s competition from the cheaper AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT, but the Nvidia GPU is faster and worth the extra money at this price.
Of course, one of the main advantages of this GPU is its support for the NVIDIA DLSS 4 ecosystem. The latest upscaling technology has been featured in far more modern games than AMD’s competing FSR 4 technology, allowing a significant improvement in the frame rate of games that minimize image quality. In particular, new games like Doom the Dark Ages, Indiana Jones and The Gread Circle run great on the RTX 5060 Ti 16GB, and can also run at 2,560 x 1,440 and 1,920 x 1,080.
You can also be willing to make the most of demanding games like the Cyberpunk 2077 on this GPU, including full overdrive ray trace mode. In my tests I found that I can enable this setting at 1080p and then enable DLS in the quality settings (it still looks good on DLSS 4), which averages at 56fps. This is enough starting point to make it possible to use Nvidia’s new multi-frame Gen Tech. It uses AI to insert additional frames between frames rendered by the GPU, pushing the average frame rate up to 179fps.
But more than anything, the price of £379.99 is a great value for this GPU with 16GB of memory, and I’m going to buy a Gainward RTX 5060 Ti Python III card. You must click this link to participate in the transaction.
Even if you can’t run perfectly at that price, you can still buy the AMD Radeon RX 9060 XT 16GB from the same retailer for £314.99. Not as fast as the RTX 5060 TI, but it’s a big upgrade around the RTX 5060 and a decent GPU for money.
