A new supervisor letter from developer Neowiz admits that some of the expansions didn’t happen as intended, and promises that the team is quickly considering the potential difficulty. Judging from the community’s response to this, the main issue lies in the new Game Plus. This seems to make the game unfair enough to punish it.
The new lies in P Expansion have already proven to be a major blow, but that doesn’t mean they’re fine. DLC turns games like Souls into unbalanced territory if they are difficult and too challenging with some new games and come to it after multiple runs of the main story. Luckily, a new director’s letter from Neowiz shows that the developers are aware of the difficulty issues and are investigating them.

Some answers to the Reddit thread under the director’s letter state that both the boss and the ordinary enemies are killing them with two hits in the new game plus, making the overture nearly impossible.
“I can’t get two shots by literally all the enemies in my new game and DLC run, because all you need to do is make it. That’s literally it,” one user wrote. “Legendary stalkers seem to be difficult for the game to have before adjustments. It’s said that DLC is too difficult. GOB kills you with two attacks. After the first two, if at least half of the attack doesn’t kill you, the boss will kill you,” and another is added.
It is also worth noting that, alongside the overture, Neowiz introduced three difficulty options to P’s lie. So, if you’re struggling with a new game plus, you can at least knock down the challenge a bit before Neowiz’s fix begins.
