Insomniac Games has released a surprise free update for Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart, adding cooperative multiplayer functionality. Two players can now experience the entire campaign together, with the second player controlling Rivet or other characters. The update includes new challenge modes designed specifically for co-op play, testing teamwork and coordination. Competitive modes allow players to race through levels or compete for high scores in arena battles. The dimensional rift mechanics have been expanded to enable unique co-op puzzles and combat scenarios. Performance remains excellent, maintaining 60 FPS even with two players and increased on-screen action. The update also includes quality-of-life improvements and new cosmetic options.
