Sucker Punch Productions has revealed Ghost of Tsushima 2, set on mainland Japan during a different historical period. The sequel features a new protagonist while maintaining connections to Jin Sakai's legacy. The game world is significantly larger, featuring diverse regions from snowy mountains to bustling cities. Combat has been expanded with new weapon types and fighting styles, offering greater depth and variety. The honor system returns with more meaningful consequences for player choices. Enhanced graphics showcase improved weather effects, more detailed character models, and stunning environmental vistas. The photo mode has been upgraded with additional filters and options. Multiplayer Legends mode returns with new story content and cooperative challenges. Release is planned for 2026.
