Larian Studios has unveiled Shadows of the Underdark, a massive expansion for their critically acclaimed RPG Baldur's Gate 3. The expansion adds approximately 50 hours of new content, including a complete campaign set in the mysterious Underdark region. Players can now choose from three new playable races and two new classes, each with unique abilities and story interactions. The expansion features over 100 new spells, dozens of new weapons and armor sets, and significantly expanded romance options. Voice acting quality matches the base game's high standards, with several Hollywood actors joining the cast. The level cap has been raised to 20, allowing players to unlock the most powerful abilities from D&D 5th edition. Early access for expansion owners begins next month.
