You may not be able to obtain previous coverage, but the weekly prizes on your Epic Games Store PC continue. Each week, the store is refreshed with one or two games, and anyone can charge and own it forever.
Of course, you need a free account for that, but have you ever played Fortnite? But sometimes the prize in question is a game worth highlighting. This is such a week.

Until now Thursday, May 22ndYou can request a free copy of Dead Island 2 and a Happy Game. Dead Island 2 is, of course, a higher profile title in this lineup, and it’s one of the hard-to-be-best cases where games of such a quality are given free.
Dead Island 2 isn’t that old either. It was announced only in April 2023. Therefore, you are over 2 years old. Some people reading this may have bought it at a deep discount that they intend to play soon after, but never did.
Given the wide history of false starts, delays, reboots and development shenanigans of all sorts, it’s a miracle that a game called Dead Island 2 exists at all. It’s actually a solid, authentic zombie action game, something that everyone was surprised two years ago.

In her four-star review, our own Kelsey Rayner said it was “all of the promised head-stop explosion,” pointing out how much they’re together in the cooperative. Considering that Dead Island 2 is now free, it’s not a problem to find someone to play with.
Even if you don’t particularly care about Zombie Games, you’ll need to at least download it and experience balance and flesh/bone techniques under the hood. It’s more detailed than you’ll notice and will decorate a very satisfying (and often cruel) zombie.
