The Elden Ring Nightrign server is back online following a quick maintenance early today. During that downtime, Sostware rolled out the game’s first major post-release patch.
Update 1.01.1 is now available on all platforms, so let’s dig into the details.

Shortly after Nightreign was released, players complained that there was a lack of mechanics to support solo players. Yes, the game is intended to be played in groups of three, but it didn’t have to be even more hostile to the solo player.
fromsoftware has quickly promised to make some changes to the next major patch that arrives this week. But the good news is that some of the changes originally planned for update 1.02 appeared in the game in today’s patch 1.01.1.
This brings about two important changes that only take effect when playing the game solo. First, solo players now have one free revival and are always active in boss battles once at a time. This effect had to be acquired before, but it remains a case of cooperative expeditions. The patch also helped to acquire solo player Rune. This could be aimed at compensating for a lack of cooperative teammates.
For everyone else, this patch has increased the number of high quality artefacts that can be obtained when you reach the third day during a particular expedition. Similarly, players are now much more likely to get highly popular artefacts from scenic flat stones. Of course, he said that he could buy stones in a small jar of bazaar.
Aside from fine-tuning balance and new features, patch 1.01.1 also comes with many bug fixes. Mostly, you adjust the camera when activating the Guardian’s ultimate wing of salvation, so you’re less likely to see some of the jitter that causes headaches that can occur in certain situations.
There are also modifications that target some skills that are not triggered when an effect is needed, and other skills that do not display the values correctly. For all the bug fixes in 1.01.1, you can read below:
