Fancy a Witcher 3 10th anniversary playthrough with extra "classic RPG feel"? Well, this new mod gives it a totally revamped Witcher 1-style skill system

In case you missed it, The Witcher 3 is now 10 years old. We’re now on our knees with replays of old games, but if all TW3 anniversary chats are thinking of burning it again, the new mod looks like it will offer an interesting twist to those looking forward to the Witcher remake.

After all, the best way to switch the Witcher experience is to switch over one Witcher skill system with another Witcher skill system in the old Witcher game. That way you will see that Witcher is better. It’s okay, I’m going to stop devouring.

The mod is Gerwant30’s Witcher 1 Talent Theers Trees Remake for the Witcher 3, whose creator previously won second place in one of CD Projekt’s Redkit Modding contests, documenting a piece that allows you to explore Cintra a bit.

As part of the ongoing “Tales of the Witcher” project, they challenged to add their own version of the First Witcher Game skill system to TW3 with the goal of “more control” of Geralt’s development through “13 new talented trees and over 200 new skills.” “This mod tries to recreate that feeling and philosophy within The Witcher 3,” explained Gerwant30.

As you can see in the showcase video above, mods are working with trees dedicated to things like strength and dexterity when you level up, earning bronze, silver and gold talent. Starting with early acquisition of bronze, you will gradually move over silver and gold as you become more skilled and gradually transform into a Master Witcher.

There are four main skill trees, including the two mentioned above, each with 17 skills, but that’s far from it. The five Witcher Signs include a unique, 18-skill strong tree “enables deep specialization” and four combat skill trees aimed at “strong” and “fast” attacks with steel and silver blades.

“Your power comes primarily from the way you build your character,” Modder wrote: If you’re a fan of detailed build engineering, certainly requires a lot of tweaks, but it’s worth noting that this is a beta version, but a fair amount of skills and features are still a work in progress.

It is also worth noting that the Gerwant30 mods designed the mods solely collaborated with “a fresh new game with a basic version of Witcher 3 only.” Also, it is intended to be used with another mod called Skyliner 390 “alchemy,” so be sure to try this skill tree mod.

Psychocaki’s “Scaar” and camera mods like Themenxcex and Elementary Lewis ”Immersive Camera for Next Gen” are also on the Gerwant30 recommendation list.

Did you prefer an older school approach to skills in the first Witcher game, or is it something that TW3 wants to tweak the second nature at this point? Please let us know below!
