Very Big and Very Buggying Fallout 4 Mod Fallout: After providing a go-to place for London last year, Gog announced it is expanding its efforts to become a place where you want to easily play famous or essential mods in certain games.
The old and new game merchant has revealed a new initiative aimed at providing “Seamless Mod Integration” and announced that it will host Skyblivion.

The first group of “hands-only” mods includes the aforementioned fallout: London, Doom 3’s Phobos Mod, Unofficial patches for Vampire: The Masquerade Bloodlines, and Heroes of Might and Magic 3’s Horn of the Abyss Mod. When Skyblivion appears, you’ll join the gang.
We wondered about factors like factors like their established relationships with specific mods and the desire to host mods for games that are often sold in stores, and asked GOG what they chose to do as their starter group. “Frankly, all of these things were mixed,” a GOG spokesperson replied, “due to the popularity and existing relationships of mods, quality, quantity, and the type of content they offer.”
“Cultural influences also played a big role. For example, Deep By’s horn is an absolute must-have for anyone who loves heroes and Magic 3. Once you have it, you can’t imagine playing without it. On top of that, some of our team members have a deep connection to the modic scene, as there are mods we know and love, and the community is already involved.”
Gog claims that the initiative “will definitely take things to another level entirely.” “We are actively working to expand it further, but the community’s response to these early titles will be a key factor in shaping what comes next,” the spokesman added.
It will be interesting to see what this initiative will affect in the future. For now, it only affects in a few games, so you can see yourself using it when you first jump into Skyblivion and give Fallout: London goes again. However, if you’re not grabbing one of these big, blue one-month total conversions, there’s a long way to go to take into account the steam and the mod-based nature of the Nexus for most of the mods I make.
You can’t seamlessly integrate all the small mods. If a certain key mod for a particular game ends as part of the Initiative and the other games aren’t, it can potentially cause some headaches. You need to see how things turn out.
