Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 is one of the funniest games I’ve played in a while. Slap it at the top of this review. It’s a game that’s not afraid to be gross, vulgar and dirty. Without a doubt, the game is not afraid to throw political plots, mountains of history, and real tear moments at you. Forget Euro Junk. This is a certified Eurogem.
The kingdom actually gives birth teeth It depends entirely on you. In Core, in an open world historic RPG where you will place you in the shoes of apprentice Smith and likeable Everyman Henry, he travels with one Hans Capon to deliver a great import letter. However, if you lose a few hours in the game, it blooms in a great sandbox, just like a great open world RPG should. Become a poacher, kill the game, sell the skin. In my preview, I noted that KCD2 is a playground for bad people and the game got wild while punishing me while punishing me. It’s not something that the majority of players could experience, but there’s the fact that there’s evidence of how thorough the developers of Warhorse were when creating this RPG.
In fact, this dedication has spread throughout the game, in almost every aspect I have encountered. Assassin’s Creed receives a lot of applause by adding a Discovery Tour (if necessary), and is another mode in which people can dive into the world when players are thrown in. KCD2 does not require this mode. All historical information is available in a dedicated tab. Henry is surprised by the water fountain and unlocks a dedicated information sheet about the water fountain. I launched this game and was able to show it to my history teacher with great effect, assuming it is still alive.
When you ride a horse and soak in the scenery, I swear to God that it seems I’m actually in the middle field of Europe. When you walk through the village it is real. I can’t think of another game that nailed the buildings of the world (or I say, the world says the world Replica) Kingdom birth 2. The Czech Republic is straightforward for this game and it’s easy to see why.
It is also a Czech game in terms of its sense of humor and its brand of jokes and drunk slapstick. Henry goes from a heartfelt conversation about morality and religion to a fist fight, and within 30 minutes to a literal wad that passes through the s**t of the pig. Both colour elements complement each other and create this blend, which will surprise you while you play. As interests increase, the hilarity increases, and this whole downhill falls between tense action, romance and strange bol stations.
All of this, I expect a significant portion of it will bounce off soon after kingdom birth 2. The game gives you the task of testing. Take the blacksmith. In other games, you bring your resources to Forge and BAM! A new sword. In Kingdom Come Come Derverance 2, you have to build your own sword in the kind of mini-game that requires patience. And time. Doing a bad job will make your sword worse. Like real life.
I’ll take the archery. In other games, it is a powerful way to steal enemies from afar. When the kingdom comes, you have no crosshairs. Loading bolts into the bow takes time and enemies will charge you when attacked. It’s a powerful tool from Yur Toolbox, but it also requires skill. Or how about lock picking? Rock picking is probably the most difficult mini-game of this type. I played a game like this. The rewards can be abundant, but when your chest says it’s difficult to unlock, it’s difficult. Those who are more comfortable with a simpler and streamlined RPG experience (hello, Fallout) may find this all too taxable. It’s completely fair and in my mind it’s the result of the approach that Warhorse took with the Kingdom Come series.
It is also worth noting that the game is not shy about slowing down the pace quickly, and sometimes there is a threat. There’s one quest early on. Here you will need to carry a bag with you from the wagon to the accommodation. When I first played this section, I thought it would cut me off after a or two. No, you reach the final bag before the movie play. Would you believe me if you said this is one better example of hard work in the game? In my opinion, it adds to the immersion and the facts of life for his poor performance back to Bohemia. For others, it’s boring. You will quickly learn whether this is a trading breaker for you.
However, even if you feel unhappy with your busy work, it will encourage players to at least finish the first map of the game. If you’ve reached this point and still realize you want to play yourself, I’m happy to say this game will really blossom in the second half.
