Even before anyone could get the Eldenling Night League, it was known to regain bosses, enemies, characters and more from Classic FromSoftware games, including the Dark Souls series.
The unknown King Boss of Dark Souls 3 can be easily seen in the early trailer, and the final game has more from these classic games. But how does the asset quality of their latest interpretations compare to the original?

It’s a very good question, it’s a data miner for one soul, and YouTuber Bonfirevn tries to answer with their latest video. This video is particularly focused on displaying Nightrign Armor sets/skins that have history in previous Software games.
For example, for fans of Dark Souls, it’s pretty clear that Wylder’s Abysswalker set clearly refers to the game’s iconic knight artwork, just as Guardian’s Sunlight Knight Skin is an unmissable nod to the game’s Astora Solaire nod. Even the patch appeared, and his dark soul became skin (black leather) for the Duchess.
The video also reveals some other more vague references to classic games. Revenant’s Dragon School Skin is a callback to Griggs from Vinheim, the original Dark Souls NPC. There is also an iRoneye skin in Selward, a replica of the outfit of Werajar, Prime Minister of Dark Souls 2.
