One of Capcom’s most mysterious projects currently under development is Ben Pragmata. The SFACTION game was first announced five years ago from 2020. Pragmata was originally scheduled to be released in 2022 in two years, but Capcom’s release calendar continued to disappear.
Even when publishers get the game back and remind everyone that it hasn’t been cancelled, they don’t provide new details or solid release dates. The last time I saw it was in the summer of 2023 when Capcom threw a towel and delayed it indefinitely.
But I hope that it was now that last act of disappearance.

As part of Sony’s play showcase, we received treatment for a new trailer for Pragmata. The trailer is entitled First Contact and offers a mix of some light story and gameplay to restain the two main characters, Hugh and Diana.
I’m not sure how the gameplay will work yet. This footage shows third-person shooting and a bit of stealth, solving the puzzle. The goal is for the two main characters to rely on each other to escape from the space station.
A new PlayStation blog post confirms that you can control both at the same time while playing the game. It appears Diana does a hack and Hugh takes care of the shooting.

Capcom knows it’s a bit ridiculous to keep the game back, but it’s all it takes to disappear from the surface of the Earth for years. Sadly, today’s news doesn’t have a solid release date, but beyond a simple 2026 target, the trailer ends with a light memo apologizing for the delay.
Pragmata is currently developing PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/s.
