NetherRealm Studios and Digital Eclipse have announced that they are regaining the classic Mortal Kombat game. dubbing Mortal Kombat Legacy CollectionThis collection includes quite a few games from the 1990s to the 2000s. Check out the announcement trailer below.

Various versions of these classic titles will be available. This includes versions made for older consoles such as Sega Genesis, SNES, older arcade machines, and even Game Boy Advance.
The projects to regain these classic titles are being handled by Digital Eclipse, who previously worked on the game. Atari 50: Anniversary celebration and Tetris forever. In line with that tradition, Mortal Kombat Legacy Collection Also includes additional content on classic development Mortal Kombat game. This spans unique behind-the-scenes documentaries and new concept art.
