If the PC game is home, chairs, tables and at least one pouf are made from Nvidia XX60 graphics cards. Other GPU lineages don’t take into account many builds and play times, but the fact that we love them so much makes it worse when we get lost. It was released when the 16GB version of the RTX 4060 Ti withered at $499.
This time, the RTX 5060 TI still gets separate 8GB and 16GB flavors, but I remember that Nvidia is. This should still be a midrange card. So price reductions start at 16GB, £349/$379 to 8GB models, and £399/$429. Although the Gen-on-gen speed upgrade is moderate, it allows for a reasonably attractive new addition to the GeForce dynasty between its cost reductions, DLSS 4 and multi-frame generation (MFG) options, and performance per performance over the already efficient 4060 TI.
I’m reviewing the 16GB version here, or more precisely, checking out the ZOTAC Gaming GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB Twin Edge. This is because of recording, it is loaded almost quietly and loaded almost silently, despite the GPU temperature only peaking at 61°C. The use of a fully wet standard 8-pin power connector suggests the modest power needs of the RTX 5060 Ti, and can be easily obtained in both 8GB and 16GB versions, both in 180W and 16GB versions without Nvidia’s Tendrilly multi-plug adapter.
In fact, I have barely approached that maximum in all the time of playing and benchmarking the RTX 5060 TI. Instead, it peaked at just 155W during the Spirited Cyberpunk 2077 session, just below the peak wattage of 157W measured on the 8GB RTX 4060 TI. If efficiency and cooling form the base of the GPU needs hierarchy, it’s worth waiting until May to check the RTX 5060 fare at 145W rated, but with the RTX 5060 TI, it’s good to have the RTX 5060 TI on its direct predecessor on whether it’s one of its biggest strengths.
Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 TI 16GB Review: 1440p Benchmark
The RTX 5060 Ti continues the epic old XX60 TI tradition of smooth yet relatively budget-friendly 1440p performance. And next to the more expensive RTX 5070, it advances Hula Merritt forward from the 40 Series era.
The 16GB RTX 5060 TI runs about 19% faster than the 8GB RTX 4060 TI, on average across all seven games. Also, that might be an unfair comparison, but not the fact that the 16GB RTX 4060 Ti is barely faster than the 8GB version on all accounts. Therefore, the aforementioned wounds.
It also raises the question of whether the 8GB RTX 5060 Ti is a better deal. I wish I had time to get it with these graphs. However, I doubt that the extra VRAM can make it very valuable as the 16GB version places much less financial burden. Having a larger buffer than 2023 could be more useful than in 2023, having a more loyal game has been starved violently for memory over the past two years.
In any case, we also see a significant performance gain from the RTX 3060 TI. If you skipped the RTX40 generation completely, here’s some good news. As a high-speed 1440p sub-£500 option, the RTX 5060 TI often offers without relying on upscaling at all.
That said, DLSS 4 remains the best of its kind. AMD’s FSR 4 provides improved encouragement, but in my eyes it still doesn’t match the sharpness of the DLSS. Also, from a straight number perspective, the MFG support of the RTX 5060 Ti allows you to further distance yourself from the 4060 TI if frame generation is involved.
I don’t actually approve any paths tracking RTX 5060 TI at this resolution. This handles normal raytracing with a dash of DLSS upscaling, but no one would buy a state-of-the-art GPU to sit around the 30fps mark. Nevertheless. This GPU delivers general playability in the absence of the RTX 40 midranger, and with 4x MFG you can do more than double the best shows. It had an additional input lag, a pile of mind, so if you’re fantasizing about frame Gen, it’s best to reduce the quality settings at the same time. This helps to ensure “real” frame supply, which helps to limit delayed spikes.

Nvidia GeForce RTX 5060 Ti 16GB Review: 1080p Benchmark
As you would like, the RTX 5060 TI is comfortable to handle the largest quality native lesbian games in full HD. The average performance of the RTX 4060 TI contract increases to just 18%, but the RTX 5070 makes more sense and is a consistent upgrade than the RTX 4070 Super.
That said, the last generation models rarely kick most ribs. Also, since both GPUs often hang out in the same 80fps+ area, it can be harder to find the difference than 1440p. However, that changes when you start slap your very high-end visual options.
Over 40fps in both these games will make the RTX 5060 TI the first XX60 card that can really deal with pass tracing. In particular, there is a noticeable difference in smoothness between the 36FPS of the 4060 TI and the 43FPS of the new model. These types of frame rates (unlike the rasterized results above) are far below the point where the reduced returns ruin the fun. Despite the strangely limited results of 4x MFG in the same game, when the frame rate base gets stronger, the 5060 TI is more suited to frame generation.
I’d still want to see how the Tiless RTX 5060 works at 1080p before sorting cash. The 8GB VRAM limit is beginning to look a bit old-fashioned, but it’s still fine for the 1080p rig that doesn’t bother switching to 1440p anytime soon. And I still use the RTX 5060 Ti over the rivals that are available right away: In addition to the RTX 4060 Ti lagging behind both straight performance and performance per watt, the Intel Arc B580 is much cheaper, but much slower. The AMD Radeon Rx 7700 XT looks encouraged. Only benchmark results for older RPS test rigs. So why are not in these graphs? At 1080p, I ran Metro exodus Cyberpunk 2077 and 107fps, it’s about the same cache on the new CPU. However, there is a shortage of FSR 4 support, currently limited to the latest RX 9000 GPUs, leaving you with a compelling comfort award for appointing the DLSS 4 at the same time.

Therefore, you can choke the RTX 5060 TI as one of the more successful RTX 50 graphics cards. Also, this particular ZOTAC model, even sticking to the base price of £399 for a 16GB GPU, impresses the thermal and tranquility, creating a case that is compelling for itself.
Anyway, in the UK. Of course, the elephant in the room’s twine is the looming impact of US tariffs on computing hardware. There is no smartphone-style exemption for graphics cards, so whether the RTX 5060 Ti suddenly becomes more expensive in the state is bothering, but it’s not surprising. It would actually make it a more difficult sell. I think there is a kind of equality in misery, as all other options suffer from the same fate.
