Peak is a small, goofy co-op climbing game from the devs behind Another Crab's Teasure and Content Warning

It’s a crossover episode! Like the great team-ups of the past (Scooby-Doo and Batman, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and Batman), a perfectly accurate battle simulator and content warning developer landings, and another Crab treasure developer, Aggro Crab, now peaks. As literally called Peak, you are no longer a spring chicken, so it’s not a qualitative descriptor that is more widely adopted in Gen-Z slang.

Peak is also a game of aptly named, as it is all about climbing the mountain. This is a game made by both landing and agrocrab, and this clearly comes with some silliness. Your virtual avatar is something I can only call “little guy” and apparently can be customized with a variety of outfits and accessories. You can also play in the cooperative. In fact, the type seems to be the main selling point, but you can also go solo.

The overall goal is to reach the top of the mountain, hoping to be rescued after collisions with the mystical island (called the peak of the mountain if I need to spell it for you). There are four biomes and you have to pick up food to keep yourself moving along the way. You can get injured, so unlike the examples provided in the trailer above, you probably shouldn’t hit the MED kit from the side of the cliff.

Interestingly, the majority of the game was created within a month’s game jam, so there’s no need to expect endless content or anything shareholders want these days. It looks like a stupid, goofy way to hang out with friends for a few hours. That’s really coming out soon too! To be precise, it’s June 16th, so there’s only a few days to wait.
