Persona 4 remake is on the way, according to one annoyed voice actor

The voice actor featured in Persona 4 slipped that a remake of School Days JRPG was in work. This is mainly because the developer is unhappy with the fact that he doesn’t want to repeat the performance as his original character. Yuri Lowenthal, who played the clumsy bike crusher Yuku in the original 2008 game, has announced that he has revealed the nuisance to developer Atlas in a subsequently deleted social media post.

“And for those who keep asking, no, I’m not going to return as Yosuke for the Persona 4 remake,” he said. “I asked. I probably begged, but they don’t want me to come back.”

It’s not an undeniable signal fire that proves the existence of the remake, but it’s a very swirling smoke. Lowenthal has previously appeared in the Persona series, and he was the voice of H-Ciro from Persona 3 Reload, a recent remake of that entry. So he might be close enough to the studio and find out a thing or two about what’s going on. He has also expressed certain neighborhood weblingers in various Spider-Man games over the years. He also speaks about Milo in the remake of Final Fantasy VII and Johnny, who is the absolute side quest responsible.

He’s not the only one who appears to be snatched by Atlas. Chie’s voice, Erin Fitzgerald, complains that, as Gamesradar has noticed, the developer wants her return.

“For those who ask, I’m not asked to reprise my role as Chie Satonaka in the Persona 4 remake,” she said in her post. “I’m blessed with recording as many Persona 4 games as I played her.”

With the third game transformed, hopes for a Persona 4 remake continue among fans. Meanwhile, many people are bubbly in their mouths for the unrealized Persona 6 announcement.

Whether or not a remake is strictly necessary is another matter. A PC remaster of Persona 4 was announced in 2020 in the form of Persona 4 Golden. Our Edwin called in his review “a dream miracle that he had done in a town that had been deprived of his purpose.” If you need a second opinion, my cousin – called me and delayed writing this article in at least an hour – was instructed to review all the persona games “too much text” in the following single sentence summary. And what do you know? I might agree. 100 hours to complete the game? please. I hardly think I’ll be in my 100-hour resident.
