2003 FPS Postal 2 It’s better because it’s engraved in the chronicles of PC games history. The famous foul first-person shooter from running with scissors remains a notable part of the culture, earning a controversial reputation and cult due to its blend of brutal behaviour and bad Taste humor. Two years ago, they were given their 20th annual overhaul, so they’re back once more as the studio announced plans for a complete remaster.
“This is real. There’s no need to adjust the screen,” running with scissors is announced via social media. The preview page for the “Postal 2 Redux is coming to Kickstarter this summer” project describes it as a “groundup overhaul” of the infamous open world FPS. “Some modernizations, some love letters, mail two redux bring all the original assets out of a creaking, unrealistic 1.5 engine, slamming them into today’s units, offering the same familiar week in the mail man’s life with a relentless glow and a new toy bucket.”
From physical waste employment to the presence of Gary Coleman, Mail 2 is a strange, bloody vehicle. It also survived the controversy over the points that now operate on a daily basis as a Curio of Nating’s early design. Heading to Steam, you’ll see that it boasts a 96% positive rating from a total of around 100,000 user reviews. If the 20th anniversary update wasn’t enough to satisfy you, then perhaps this more grounded overhaul will be what you’re looking for.
Currently, there is no more specific word about when fundraisers start beyond “this summer,” but if you want to be notified, you can follow it on Kickstarter.
