While keeping most of the details close to your chest, the catchphrase for the Capcom sequel is “Requiem for the Dead. Nightmare for Live.” Fans also teased that they need to “escape death with a heart-stopping experience, which will cool you down to your core.”
If that’s not enough, it’s touting this as a “new era of survival horror,” and “technical advancements” with the developer’s experience will be a story full of “rich characters” and gameplay.
There is not much specific information about the gameplay mechanics or what players do (in addition to trying the Lenwood Hotel as Grace to investigate murder victims). Fortunately, more details will be revealed leading up to its launch, including Gamescom in August. Requiem It will be available for the first time.
Resident Evil Requiem The Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC will be released on February 27th, 2026. In the meantime, look forward to more updates.
