In line with the show’s fifth and final seasons, the upcoming VR experience Stranger Things: Catalyst Hawkins, Indiana, will be ready to be prepared with friends to face the promising iconic locations, unique abilities and supernatural threats that plague horrifying creatures upside down.

Like everything about the multiplayer experience in sandbox VR, Stranger Things: Catalyst Built by an in-house studio, it will also be a third collaboration with Netflix. Squid Game Virtual and Rebel Moon: Descend.

Stranger Things: Catalyst It will be released at the Sandbox VR location in the second half of 2025. At the time of writing, Sandbox VR operates in over 55 global locations and has gained over 117K players each month.

This follows April’s news that Sandbox VR had surpassed $200 million in lifetime revenue since its inception in 2016. This marks the San Francisco-based company opening 29 new locations this year alone, representing an increase of around 50%.
