The Sims 4's next expansion Enchanted by Nature looks perfect for cottagecore lovers on TikTok circa 2020

Over the past 11 years, we have received numerous updates, DLC bits and expansion packs, but there are still some in Sims 3 that have not yet appeared. Seriously, the Sims 4 has been supported for twice as long as the Sims 3, but this year is the only time I’ll get a pack featuring fairies. They will come to Enchanted by Nature by Nature Pack, which contains more than just a new supernatural specification for your Sim.

The biggest thing is the fairies, so let’s start there. Thanks to literally Mother Nature, you can turn your Sim into a fairy, with several different paths laid out before them. You can turn them into harmonious fairies, “merciless winged helpers who want to help other creatures.” Or they want to find health and balance” or “flying prank maker who enjoys creating a bit of confusion and making everyday life more difficult for the surrounding Sims.”

Fairies have unique abilities that allow them to grow plants and change the mood of other Sims. It sounds a bit manipulative when you ask me, but Sims is really about drama, right? From wings to ears, ears, sparkling tattoos and even more fairy versions of Sims can be customized. I would also like to point out that Maxis’ shared fairies can “even offer special Woohoo using fairy charm.” At least they know some of the audience.

The expansion also has a new area, Innisgreen. This looks like something from the 2020 cottage core tic talker dream. It consists of three regions, a seaside village, a town-like area with shops and houses where you live, and a magical forest. There are plenty of whimsical exterior items to build a new home.

It appears that Sims can become unbalanced if they lose a little control over their lives. This can lead to illness and actually has both advantages and disadvantages, but you can fix these by creating treatments and elixirs at the new pharmacist table. You can read all of this in more detail in the EA blog post.

Oh, and you won’t be long to wait for this either. That’s because it is currently scheduled for next month, July 10th.
