Warhammer 40,000 Darktide is getting a playable space cop, and a trusty cyber dog

Fat Shark has revealed the next class of Warhammer 40,000: Darktide as part of today’s Warhammer Skulls event. Adeptus’ arbites – essentially the Warhammer 40k Space Police version – has won several representatives and brings a reliable cybermastiff companion.

You will be veiled to play yourself on June 23rd on all platforms and can be purchased by $11.99 or per region. Classes are customizable with over 80 talent nodes, allowing for a bunch of player expressions. It also comes with new weapons in the form of shotguns, assault sea elfs, shot pistols and dominator malls.

Of course, you can also fine-tune the appearance and sound of the arbito. There are three personalities to choose from and six audio lines to help you create your own.

Plus, Darktide has gotten a bit of an overhaul of the story. Now, given the fact that when you play the game you can jump around the story through different matches, it can be a bit difficult to get a stable line of narratives. On June 23rd, alongside the new class, the game is improving the story’s experience. This allows key characters and events to be sequentially sequentially in the form of curated mission paths that allow players to travel.

The difficulty system has also been fine-tuned! Rather than simply leveling up, players can unlock higher difficulties by demonstrating their skills. By completing many missions cleared at the current level, CNA steadily advances to more challenging content.

Finally, starting today, a special event is coming to Darktide. Nurlge Totems begin to pop up across various missions and destroy them, allowing players to make the mission more challenging, but they can win some additional prizes.
