Blizzard is hot tonight with the latest version of Campfire Chat Developer’s Livestream. This is everything for the upcoming season 9 of Diablo 4. Or, more specifically, we plan to cover Patch 2.3.0 PTR (Public Test Realm).
Among many other things, this is a show that outlines why developers need PTR, what to expect from the next major update/season, and how to get involved.

If you feel that already a new PTR is a little too early for Diablo 4 to appear, you’re not wrong. We’re only a few weeks of season 8, which is clearly going to be a shorter season compared to previous seasons.
Season 8 will have its own PTR for Patch 2.2.0 in March, and Season 9 PTR may start by the end of this month or early June. 2.3.0 PTR’s start date is just one of the things Blizzard developers will cover in tonight’s live stream.
Another topic of discussion is Dungeon Escalation, a new activity that will come to Diablo 4 in Season 9. Each season has a spinning activity, which will be the version for the next season.
As always, this will be a close show that ends with a Q&A segment. It all starts 11am, 2pm ET, 7pm. It can be viewed on YouTube, Twitch, Twitter and Tiktok. The Twitch player is also embedded below.
