Despite all the demands that Nintendo lower the price, everyone and their mom are trying to pre-order the Switch 2 for a chance, and optionally connected, and optionally may not be able to create enough consoles to meet all demand in a timely manner. The good news is that the deal with Samsung sounds like it will help to charge the production of the SuperCharge Switch 2 a little.
At this point, it’s important to note that almost all the chatter about the Switch 2 sale is imagining the erratic US tariff situation, and that the changes threaten to throw a spanner on the work. Therefore, even Nintendo itself has released launch sales forecasts that most analysts consider.

According to a new Bloomberg report, Nintendo has opted to sign a deal with Samsung to produce chips for the new console.
The agreement offers the opportunity for Nintendo to manufacture and sell 20 million two units of Switch by the end of March 2026. This could be that Samsung “can increase it further if necessary, but depends on the capacity of the hardware assembler.”
Right, here comes the nerd bit, but that’s already a bit rich to write in a story about video games. Samsung is reportedly using 8 nanometer nodes to produce these chips, and landing this contract will help fight Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Co, which has the advantage in the chip manufacturing market.
More interestingly, Bloomberg reports that Samsung is already being used to use OLED panels when it inevitably refreshes its Switch 2 hardware and brings out a slightly Swanki version due to disposable income and desire for better technology.
